A photographic exploration of the Munich Olympiapark with the Fuji X100
Hi there!
Back in 2016, equipped with my trusty original Fujifilm X100 camera (that I regrettably sold later on), I set out on a photographic journey to Munich. Specifically, I aimed to capture the famous Olympiapark from a unique angle. By experimenting with an IR filter, I feel I added a sense of contrast, grit and decay to my visual storytelling.
I delved into the interplay of light and shadow of the park’s unique architecture, both indoors and outdoors. With each click of the shutter, I unraveled a fresh perspective of the structural intricacies, crafting a narrative of forlorn elegance.
Although my aspiration to publish these images in a short book never materialized, the charm of these semi-abstract architectural photos lingers vividly in my memory. I invite you to join me on a visual exploration of these mesmerizing monochromatic compositions.
